Is love free?

Are human beings capable of loving a person without any conditions ? Is it possible for us to love another person in a way that we accept the other's freedom to live?

or are we living only in an illusion of love which is actually a mask for our own selfish motives?

these are the questions that came before in the context of the two murder cases that are sensationalised by the media of late.. both in the case of neeraj's murder in mumbai or arooshi's murder in delhi, the question of love surfaces strongly.

Is it a part of your love for a person that you can not accept the others freedom to do whatever he/ likes?

can not we love a person and let him live the way he likes? Suppose we allow the other person to love someoneelse we do not approve of , is it a weakness on our part? does it show that our love is not complete?

the whole question is this, is beiong possesive an integral part of love? If it is can we really call it love?

cant love be free?
